Safety & AI

How SideQuest’s present product boundary is intended to work.

Adult Play and Classroom are separate

Play is the adult-facing product domain. Classroom requires separate school data, governance, consent, support, and AI-routing decisions before any student workflow can launch. Classroom content must not flow into the adult Play domain.

Life content direction

Life is a fictional adult simulation. Its separate sexual-detail and violence-detail settings default to off. The implemented graphic-scene route is limited to the current saved adult partnership chapter and requires a server-verified Adult Play account, a graphic preference, an explicit per-scene request, matching owner configuration, and a separate usage quota. Explicit content is not available from public pages or used as a public preview. The optional text route uses an allowlisted OpenRouter model. The optional image route uses a pinned OpenRouter image provider and a separately configured vision-review provider; malformed, unsupported, oversized, or rejected images are not delivered. Fictional relationships require clear adult ages and scene-specific consent; fictional illegal actions can have lasting in-game consequences.

Both graphic routes are disabled unless separately configured and enabled. When a provider, applicable policy, quota, or review path is unavailable, the graphic request is unavailable; ordinary Life play remains usable.

Reporting and review

Authenticated players can submit a bug, product-feedback, or safety report from the private Feedback screen. Final operations must define staffed review queues, severity targets, escalation paths, law-enforcement procedures where legally required, and a clear user-contact method.

AI limits

OpenRouter configuration is optional and server-only. Authored gameplay and local reflection work without a key. AI requests use bounded inputs and validated outputs; quota-controlled AI cannot choose Life outcomes, award rewards, grade Learn assessments, alter records, access elevated credentials, or make staff decisions. The image path independently reviews each generated image before delivery. Classroom AI remains separate from the Adult Play OpenRouter routes and is not enabled by this integration.
